Turn Puppy Chaos to Calm with Pawmora’s Puppy Academy

Washington DC’s original puppy school.

How to Know You Got a New Puppy

  • You don’t need to set your alarm clock any more because a new furry friend helps with that! Only problem is… sometimes your new “alarm” also goes off in the middle of the night.

  • Your once tidy home now looks more like the aftermath of a tornado

  • Shoes, socks, and remotes… many of your posessions are now “lightly textured,” thanks to tiny teeth marks. Goodbye coffee table. Hello, modern distressed aesthetic.

  • Your new puppy is thrilled to pee outside…. and also inside. Bonus points if they stare at you while doing it!

  • Work and your new puppy is like walking a tightrope while juggling flaming pineapples… It’s not happening. Thank goodness for “work from home”…

  • You’ve had to run to CVS for more laundry detergent because your previous subscribe-and-save schedule just doesn’t cut it with the amount of laundry your new friend helps to create!

  • A life. What is that? Everything “pre” is now a fuzzy memory. You’re now in a time loop with a puppy - feeding, training, walking, cleaning, repeat over and over until you collapse into bed at the end of the day.

  • Your puppy thinks the best place to poop is 30 seconds after coming inside.

  • Everyone else sees a fluffy angel, but you know better… It’s a baby piranha with fur.

  • Your puppy loves their crate… Except when you actually need them to go in it.

  • The honeymoon phase is officially over and “puppy blues” are descending quickly!

  • You’ve never loved something so small and chaotic this much.

Introducing Puppy Academy: The Smart Way to Raise a Well-Behaved City Dog

Raising a puppy is exciting—but let’s be honest, it’s also a full-time job. Potty training, socialization, leash skills, chewing, barking, and figuring out why they’re zooming through your house at 10 PM like a caffeinated squirrel? We get it.

That’s why we created Puppy Academy—a drop-off training and socialization program designed to help busy professionals and families raise great dogs without sacrificing their sanity. Think of it as school, daycare, and expert training—all in one.

How it Works

📍 Drop off your puppy (or we’ll pick them up if you’re close to our studio).

🎓 We do the hard work—socialization, training, potty habits, and all those early developmental must-dos.

🐶 Your puppy has fun, stays safe, and learns essential life skills while you work, run errands, or just take a breather.

🏡 Pick up a calmer, smarter, better-behaved puppy at the end of the day.

Michelle and her team are awesome! The Puppy Academy program is totally worth it if you'd like to have a wonderful puppy. They work on different aspects with puppies and train each puppy differently due to the personality each puppy has. My puppy used to be super hyper but a little bit shy, he always lost his mind when playing or became crazy. But now he's much calmer, behaving so much better when he's free at home and playing very friendly with other dogs in the dog park or in the class. It's amazing! And we've been attending the puppy kindergarten class for more than 3 months. It's really good for puppies' socialization and obedience. We'll definitely try other group training classes very soon. ~ YW
